HOW DOES THERAPY WORK? 

Therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist to work on identified goals for personal growth. It generally includes three stages:

 

  • Assessment of current functioning and personal history which includes looking at concerns or problems as well as strengths

  • Exploring feelings and looking for patterns in behaviors, thoughts, and emotions

  • Identification of goals and implementing a plan for change
